Since October 15, the bus schedule of 513 and 514 has changed a lot. Students of KNUE have lots of interest in it if it reflects their needs. The interval between 513 buses was lengthen, from 23 runs a day to 22 runs, while 514 buses maintained it. The main change that students are paying attention is that the time of the last bus changed to be earlier than before.

KNUE is located in Darak-ri, Gangnae-myeon, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju-si. As seeing from the address, it is relatively isolated from other universities, and it is less likely that transportation and cultural facilities will be accessible. In particular, complaints and demands for proper transportation have been constantly met, but it was difficult to solve easily. As KNUE is popular for its rusticity, most of the students always need the convenient way to get urbanity.

KNUE has operated buses to meet the needs. They are used to assist out-of-school education of the department in KNUE. They also help professors and staffs to commute from/to specific places. On Fridays, buses are operated twice for students to move to Jochiwon Station and Osong Station, each starting at 1:50 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Despite of the efforts of KNUE, some users insist that KNUE put on more cars and increase the number of bus stops to make the system more convenient.

To put it briefly, reorganized bus schedule became more inconvenient for KNUE students. Buses operated by KNUE seem not to be a perfect alternative for those who want to move in and out the university. So, the transportation system is getting some requests about reorganizing again to make the move easily available.
