On August 4, a post titled ‘Me Too’ was posted on the Cheongram Square and deleted within 30 minutes after being posted. It was a short time but caused a huge stir on campus. The writer who revealed herself as a graduate student of the KNUEstated she had been sexually harassed by a professor of Education for about a year. The posting was deleted by the administrator for violating Cheongram Square Rules by referring a particular individual. However, the
posting was captured before the deletion and spread between students. The writer said she was an assistant of professor L, and accused him of continuing sexual harassment for over a year. Four days later, another accuser posted an article on Cheongram Square disclosing, “I'm also a victim of sexual harassment at
the university.”

On August 5, the day after the indictment, Vice President Cho Soon-mook informed that the university has formed “Sexual Assault Task Force(SATF) and excluded professor L from his duties. On September 19, the SATF notified that the prevention of secondary damage on the accuser was requested, regulation revision of SATF and Disciplinary Committee(DC), and a regular complete enumeration survey about human rights and sexual matters to the DC. Based on the investigation results and the request for disciplinary action of SATF, a DC is formed to determine the actual disciplinary action.

Meanwhile, as there is no way for students to participate in the DC, the student council proposed the card news to relay their demands through a rally,
saying that the student's influence in the disciplinary process is weak. On September 13, students demanded the committee to open the discussions to the public. However, according to the school regulations, the SATF meetings should be held in private. In addition it is virtually impossible to disclose the contents of the discussion because the investigation within sex issue should be kept private with an appointed counselor or grievance counselor. Thus, on October 11 and 12, the committee and solidarity groups changed the direction of the rally. In the rally, students called for the dismissal of professor L, complete enumeration, and preparation of measures to prevent recurrence.

Meanwhile, Task Force was formed by the Dept. of Education, carried out a signature campaign and postit campaign for five days from October 1 to 5. A total of 1,273 people participated in the signature-collecting campaign. To convey the opinions of students, TF gathered the arguments from participants on Postit
notes and attached them to the doors and walls of professor L's office.

The members of the school also actively participated in voicing their comments. KNUE Female Professors' Association urged to organize a system to encourage sexual violence counseling and activation of a reporting system, an annual research on the actual condition to find campus sexual violence, and increasing female disciplinary committee member over 50 percent.

On October 22, President Lew Hee-chan announced the dismissal of professor L through Cheongram Square. The chairman of ‘Dept. of Ethics Ed. Emergency Committee, Jang Hye-jung, who worked together with TF, thanked fellow students for taking the lead in the dismissal of Professor L. However, she urged students to join to fight with injustice, saying, "Please keep your attention to sexual violence and human rights issues ignored by authority in campus. ”If you have any concerns about sex problems, you can apply for counseling at the KNUE Counseling Psychology Center via the website (https://counseling.knue.ac.kr) or visiting directly.
