The business agreement signing ceremony between Korea National University of Education and CJB, Cheongju Broadcasting co., was held in the conference room of the university administration office, on October 24, 2017.
The event started with greetings and introductions. There were words of appreciation by the university president and the chief executive of CJB. Then, the content of the agreement was explained and agreements were signed. After the process, commemorative photographs were taken. 12 interested parties accompanied by five people each, consisting of Lee Hyeon-bok, the chief executive of CJB, and Lew Hee-chan, the president of KNUE, attended the event.
“The agreement will contribute to local/regional development along with the augmentation in the cooperation and interchange between the school and the broadcasting station. In fact, there is a good demand for such broadcasts, which makes me expect this opportunity to develop into a new business. We have a lot of work to do jointly,” said Lew Hee-chan president.
“As far as broadcasting is concerned, I believe we would be able to help Korea National University of Education thoroughly,” Lee Hyeon-bok, the chief executive of CJB, replied. “I was glad to hear the university president propose that we, CJB and KNUE, start up a new business. It is definitely an unfamiliar field and unprecedented, but I think we could actually be pioneers in a new field.”
Through the agreement, CJB promised to offer technical support and education related to broadcasting, collaborate and provide technical advice in the development of online courses and e-learning contents, etc.
